SARAH S. PRESTON

Interior Designer

Sarah Preston has had a talent for art from a very young age. Encouraged to pursue all artistic endeavors while growing up, this aptitude would later translated into to the world of interior design.

“I began to imagine what it could be like to physically stand within my own imaginative creations”.

After receiving an Associates of Arts degree from Utah Valley University, Sarah pursued a Bachelors degree in Interior Design, from Utah State University. Since then she has acquired a portfolio career by gaining experience in a variety of design fields including hospitality, lighting design, contract furnishings, high-end retail, and commercial design.

“My inspirations come from art, photography, and architecture. I especially love the work of David Hockney, Mark Rothko, and Charles Renee Mackintosh. I’ve been fortunate to see and experience their work up close, one of my favorite things to do, is spending an afternoon in an art gallery”.

Sarah values simplicity, symmetry, detail, and strives for beauty and balance in her work. Being naturally tactile, she enjoys exploring new materials with the variety of results that can be produced from mixing color, texture and light.
