Travis is all about giving back to his community, his profession, and his colleagues. As a studio leader at GSBS, Travis works alongside his colleagues to help them reach their highest potential and in turn elevate the profession of architecture. He takes this even further by serving on AIA Utah committees and Board of Directors.

This same motivation is what led Travis to also volunteer at his church and as coach for his local high school’s mountain biking team. This last one was really, maybe just a good excuse to spend more time outdoors and on his bike. Backcountry adventures on his bike, in a canoe, or hiking/climbing are his favorite pastimes—as long as his favorite people, his wife and three kids are also along.

Travis is a principal at GSBS and has been here since 2000. He loves shaping spaces that will serve, shape, and inspire the people who will shelter in those spaces. He is a big proponent of timeless design and believes in the preservation and rehabilitation of those iconic spaces.
