Salt Lake CITY Ballpark Station Area Plan

The area around The Salt Lake Bees’ Ballpark in Salt Lake City abounds in diversity and opportunity. The GSBS Team’s job was to engage with that diverse community and capitalize on the opportunities presented by transitioning neighborhoods, robust transportation infrastructure, and proximity to Salt Lake’s downtown. GSBS led a team of consultants that analyzed existing conditions, garnered community feedback, and developed a station-area plan that recommended the highest and best use for the area. Recommendations in the final plan were based on in-depth community engagement and research and address redevelopment of underutilized properties, placemaking, urban design guidelines and criteria for new development in the heart of the neighborhood.
