Justin began his career in architecture working for a small residential design firm while still attending Alta High School in Sandy, UT. After graduating he spent the next several years working with other SLC firms before landing at GSBS Architects early in 1998 as a Job Captain. Now, as a Principal and Senior Project Manager, Justin works together with project teams, clients, and contractors through all phases of work and delivery methods to ensure that projects are kept on schedule and on budget.

In the summer months Justin enjoys golfing with friends or riding his motorcycle through the canyons around northern Utah. In the winter he’s on his snowboard every weekend. He loves to travel and is anxious to get back at it as soon as it’s practical to do so.

As a leader in our commercial sector, Justin leverages significant experience in all types of commercial design projects–office, manufacturing, warehouse and distribution, retail and multi-family He has long-standing relationships with both owners and contractors invested in private development across the Wasatch Front and beyond. He holds professional licenses in both Utah and Idaho, is a member of the American Institute of Architects, LEED Accredited Professional and recently stepped down as President of the Utah Chapter of the Design Build Institute of America after serving in various capacities on that Board for more than six years.
