TaJIRI FERNANDEZ

ARCHITECTURal TEchnician

Born in the Big Apple, Tajiri was a New Yorker for about 11 months before his family moved to Africa. They settled in Kenya, where he spent the remainder of his childhood. It was 18 years before he returned to the U.S. to pursue an education in Architecture. Now, after earning his Undergraduate and Master’s degrees from UT Arlington, Tajiri has now been at home in Texas for 10+ years.

Outside of Architecture, Tajiri can be found spending time with friends and family: being outdoors, playing sports and eating good food. Regardless of the activity, he ultimately believes that the true meaning in life’s experiences can be found in who you share them with.

Tajiri currently works in the GSBS Fort Worth office, using his experiences in BIM, design & project management to work on a variety of projects while seizing every opportunity to learn from those around him. Beyond licensure, Tajiri seeks to become a versatile Architect with a global outlook; whose designs can make a mark on the built environment and a difference in the lives of the people that inhabit it.

“No matter how long you are in Architecture, you will constantly be learning new things. That’s why it’s called a Practice.”
