JERZY ZUNIGA

Architecture

Born and raised in Cusco, Peru, Jerzy started practicing there as a licensed architect for over three years, focusing on the design and construction of educational, healthcare, and residential buildings, always with a strong environmental focus. Fun fact: most of his work took place in sites over 12,500 feet high, where it gets very chilly and environmental strategies are a must! He recently graduated from LSU in Louisiana with a Master's in Architecture and made the move to Fort Worth. 

When he’s not working, Jerzy enjoys playing online chess with his dad, who taught him how to play when he was just five years old, he’s been playing with him every since. Jerzy also enjoys any other kind of competition and reading outdoors.

Now working at GSBS as a recent architecture grad, he’s eager to bring his passion for sustainable design to the team. He’s also interested in exploring how sustainable design is not only environmentally responsible, but also economically beneficial for the building’s owner.
