CONNOR STONE

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Connor is passionate about all the great amenities the state of Utah has to offer. As a lifelong resident, he carries the perspective of someone who understands the potential of our state. As an undergraduate student at the University of Utah studying Parks, Recreation and Tourism (B.S.), Connor discovered his interest in creating places that foster health, wellness, and access to opportunities.

When he isn’t at the GSBS office, Connor enjoys being outside with friends and family. Whether it be golfing, snowboarding, hiking, camping, or flyfishing, the outdoors is where Connor feels most in his element. He also enjoys watching sports and rooting for the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Angels.

Connor is currently working on his master’s degree in City and Metropolitan Planning at the University of Utah and expects to graduate in the Spring of 2024. He will be assisting the GSBS Planning team with their projects and apply his skills in community engagement, research, and writing.
