Curiosity and creativity are driving forces in Brett’s professional and personal pursuits. For both architecture and his art, he derives inspiration from the world around him. His travels have provided him with opportunities to experience spaces like the Pantheon in Rome, the Golden Palace in Japan, and the city of ruins of Petra, which are major sources of his inspiration. Visiting the studio of architect and architectural philosopher Juhani Pallasmaa in Helsinki, Finland is a highlight of Brett’s world travels.
Brett lives with his wife on a small homestead near Bear Lake in southeastern Idaho. A lifelong passion of his is painting. He has exhibited and sold work in the Middle East and throughout the U.S. Brett also enjoys skiing, time at the lake, and other outdoor activities.
Brett brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to the GSBS team. The luxury hospitality and residential market sector make up the single largest portion of his portfolio. Highlights include projects in Deer Valley and Park City as well as projects in the Bahamas, Cobo San Lucas, Mexico, Big Sky, Montana and Hawaii.
