BRYNN POULSEN

LANDSCAPE ARchitecture

As a native Utahn, Brynn grew up exploring the great outdoors and creating art. Eventually, she found a way to combine these passions through pursuing a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at Utah State University, where she graduated in the spring of 2023. 

Another driving factor in her career choice was Brynn’s love for plants - from collecting houseplants to exploring giant Redwoods, she loves to “geek out” on greenery. On a typical weekend, you can find Brynn strolling through a local farmers market or wandering the aisles of a quaint bookstore (bonus points if it includes a store cat). Brynn has a soft spot for all creatures great & small, but particularly loves large dogs that resemble bears.

What drew Brynn to GSBS was their shared passion for inclusive and environmentally conscious design. She believes that landscape architects can play a role in conservation and improving the health of humans and ecosystems through both built and natural spaces. At the firm, she hopes to create responsible designs that promote sustainability, while empowering the communities that use them.
