JINNIE JI HYUNG LEE

Jinnie Ji Hyung Lee is an architect at GSBS Architects, specializing in higher education and hospitality projects while contributing her expertise across various project types. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and collaborative approach, she ensures every project is executed with precision and quality. She actively explores ways to enhance building performance, reduce environmental impact, and promote resilient design solutions.
As an Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Architectural Design, Jinnie leverages cutting-edge technology to enhance team efficiency and exceed client expectations. She plays a key role in the GSBS Revit Management Group and GSBS Drawing Standards Committee, driving continuous improvement in firm-wide processes and personnel development.
In addition to her architectural practice, Jinnie has been teaching at the University of Utah since 2024 spring, sharing her BIM expertise with the next generation of architects.
Jinnie moved to Utah to pursue her master’s in architecture and brings a diverse skill set to her role, including experience in graphic design, GIS data management, and construction estimation. Her talents were recognized when she won the Utah AIA Graphic Competition in 2015 and was later selected for the Christopher Kelly Leadership Development Program with Colorado AIA (2018–2019).
Dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the profession, Jinnie actively supports the National Organization of Minority Architects and served on the board of Women in Architecture (2021–2024). She also contributes to the community through initiatives like Utah Canstruction 2024, where her team earned the Structural Ingenuity Award.
