The WSU McKay Education Building houses both the education department, classrooms and, an early-childhood development facility. The theme of “tree” was developed as the interior design theme and was reflected in many ways throughout. A wood slat focal point at a staircase ends with a WSU logo statue on the college side, while a more colorful and whimsical graphic of an aspen tree with inspirational quotes is on the Children’s School side. Color wall graphics are used to differentiate Children’s School classrooms.
