The design vision for Sunset Junior High was inspired by its name—sunset. The obvious inspirations of color and pattern are seen throughout the design, but more metaphorical aspects of sunset such as horizon and possibility are also conveyed. The result is a school with an uplifting vibe that encourages students to explore and discover what’s beyond the horizon. At Sunset Junior High, each day is a new opportunity to look beyond your horizon, explore the possibilities and discover who you can become.
