Dylan Taylor

Architectural Intern

Dylan grew up in Highland, Utah in a small artists’ community that emphasized natural landscaping and design that blends with its surroundings. As a result, he has always loved the wild desert landscape of Utah and hopes to design buildings that respect and harmonize with nature. Since he was a kid, Dylan has sketched constantly and loves the idea that something he thinks about, then translates into lines on a piece of paper, can become a part of reality.

Dylan completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University in Economics—somewhat at odds with his creative side—before course-correcting and moving to Texas to complete his Master of Architecture degree at the University of Texas at Austin.

Dylan enjoys traveling with his wife and they have spent a lot of time experiencing different places and cultures. Depending on the weather, he also likes playing the guitar, snowboarding, longboarding, hiking, and reading.
