Cindy Bithell
Architect
Cindy moved to Salt Lake City from California in 2004 to attend the University of Utah. Following graduation, she interned for the non-profit Design Build Bluff and later became the Director of Operation and the Executive Director. She assisted in the design and construction of 8 homes for Navajo families. Since leaving the organization, she has obtained her professional license as an architect in 2017.
Her primary focus of work is commercial design and construction including banks, offices, libraries, retail, food and beverage and multi-family housing. Some of her notable projects include Mischievous Retail, Spyhop, Central 9th Phase II, multiple townhome projects, and Commercial building 5 as part of the Daybreak Ballpark development completing March 2025. However, one of her proudest projects was designing and building her own home in 2016 alongside her husband who also practices architecture.
When not practicing architecture, she can be found behind a sewing machine where she designs sewing patterns for home sewists and showcasing her designs on the runway. Her fashion designs focus on zero and low waste design principles. She can also be found with her husband, 2 daughters and dog in the outdoors camping and overall enjoying life.
