Emerging Professional / Architecture

Aastha grew up looking at the natural beauty of the Himalayas and the grandeur of the Newari architecture in her hometown Kathmandu, Nepal. Her curiosity to see beautiful places and experience different culture brought her to Utah. She enjoys being in nature and is passionate about cultural sustainability through architecture and creating resilient spaces where communities thrive and feel connected.

Aastha joined GSBS as a summer intern in 2022. After graduating from the University of Utah with Masters in Architecture, she joined GSBS once again. As a fresh graduate pursuing licensure, Aastha is gaining experience in different phases of projects and is preparing for her ARE license exams.

She is also actively involved in the Forum committee and NOMA Utah where she engages in leadership, mentorship, and networking activities.
